Acer laptop Shutting down without warning?

Acer Aspire that had some pretty solid specifications also it does work great. The only real problem it has are some random shutdowns with no apparent rationale. Luckily, I think I may have found a fix and I am here to help you fix the Acer notebook shut down randomly as well.

Apparently -- and unfortunately -- this is a pretty common thing with newer Acer notebook models. There are several people whining about exactly the same thing: their laptop shuts down without a warning in completely random intervals. There does not appear to be such a thing causing those close downs, but they always occur when the charger is not plugged -- but if the battery is full.

  • I began to find these random shutdowns of my Acer Aspire and at first, I did think this had been a problem. You realize, considering that the laptop was brand new and what appeared to be working flawlessly, I thought that it may be a Windows upgrade causing it or something similar.
  • But after a while it was pretty obvious: there exists a problem with my notebook as it will not

power down and without me instructing it to do so. Therefore, I decided to obtain a cure for this. And an extremely simple one seemingly has done wonders for me personally. I am sharing it together with two additional possible fixes if my preferred individual doesn't do the job.
  • But if you'd like in an attempt to repair the Acer laptop shutting down randomly issues by yourself, you now have a few choices. Here's the fix that seems to have done the job for me personally:
  • Shut down your laptop and change it around. Make use of a screwdriver and tighten all the screws that you may view over the rear board. You will be amazed (at the least that I was!) To see that some are VERY loose.
  • Don't tighten them too much -- so do not use all your force to do it but gently tighten them all a bit. For some unknown reason (maybe some connections maybe not rendering it they need to ), this seems to have fixed the problem for me -- and lots of others who have tried it again.

But if that doesn't fix it for you, you can try two other possible repairs to prevent your laptop from randomly shutting down without a warning:

First, turn off your notebook and then turn it around. Get yourself a needle or a newspaper clip and find the little hole near your battery life. Insert the needle/paper clip and press for about 4-5 seconds. Maintain the laptop closed down for approximately ten minutes, then plug in the charger and restart it.

If you wish to be certain that you're doing everything right -- or in the event, you fail to find the hole to reset your battery -- your best option is to go up to YouTube and search to get a video showing you how you can do it based on your laptop model. Even when you have an Acer notebook, the small hole will be positioned in a variety of places depending on the version.

 UPDATE YOUR BIOS

It takes quite a little time and dedication and should only be attempted if both of the other methods neglect. Updating your BIOS isn't actually recommended in most cases -- but in some cases, like having your laptop shut down it helps.

  • The approach is a bit complicated, however, you'll find directions on how to do here.
  • Simply make certain, before you attempt to update your BIOS, that there is indeed an update available for the own model. And only take action if anything else didn't restore your condition.
  • In my case & many cases out there, simply trimming the screws somewhat solves the problem for example magic. So definitely try it and you could be amazed to learn this type of simple fix works!
  • Finally, if none of the fixes above work, the problem might be laying somewhere else. Your laptop may be overheating and restart as a result of this -- which means you can have a look at the temperature installing a completely free program for it, but it's very improbable that air-soft is your reason if you don't deploying it to play games.
  • If you've got this strange issue of your Acer laptop randomly shutting down without an apparent reason, feel free to comment below particularly when you managed to obtain a fix that was not recorded within this report.
